Mac Jones earns praise from current, former New England Patriots

Mac Jones is getting noticed for all the right reasons in New England Patriots training camp.
Dont’a Hightower, a fellow former Alabama standout, recently told reporters that he noticed Jones has been looking at the team’s defensive plays.
“I give him credit for that,” Hightower said, per Boston.com. “Not a lot of young guys would see that as an opportunity. If you take that for what it’s worth, the kid works hard.”
“Mac is a terrific kid,” Hightower added in his comments to the media. “He works hard. Real smart dude. He’s going to go over the edge. I’ve been impressed with him since OTAs and how hard he works.”
Jones hasn’t just impressed Alabama alumni. Former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman liked seeing that Jones participated in a post-fight lap with his offensive linemen.
