Mario Craver receives final injury update ahead of Arkansas matchup
Mario Craver, Texas A&M’s top wide receiver, isn’t sure if he’ll be able to suit up on Saturday night against Arkansas, and the mystery is going to go down to the final moments before kickoff.
When the unranked Aggies (2-2, 0-2 SEC) and Razorbacks (2-2, 0-1 SEC) clash at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 at Kyle Field, it’ll finally be known if Craver will be available to a struggling Texas A&M team that is coming off back-to-back losses. In the final injury report released at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, about an hour and a half before kickoff, Craver was officially listed as a game-time decision.
Craver was listed as questionable earlier this week after departing Texas A&M’s Week 4 loss at LSU with an apparent injury. He was seen limping toward the sideline during the second quarter of that game before being forced to go to the locker room. Craver eventually returned to the game but was largely ineffective, finishing with just 3 catches for 31 yards.
The junior Birmingham native leads the Aggies in receptions (22) and yards receiving (225) to go with 2 touchdowns, and a team in desperate need of a victory would be getting a huge boost on Saturday night if Craver is indeed able to play.
With the questions about Craver’s availability as a backdrop, Texas A&M will try to get off the deck and beat Arkansas at home on Saturday night. Here is what the Kalshi market is currently saying about which team has the advantage going into the primetime showdown in College Station:
