Kirby Smart sent former Georgia standout Mecole Hardman a video message of encouragement and well wishes before Super Bowl LIV. It’s only fitting that the Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver would return the favor with a message for the Bulldogs from the field at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

UGA wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton recorded and shared a video of Hardman on the field during pregame warmups.

“UGA you know we here man. I represent for the Dawgs man,” Hardman said. “We here at the Super Bowl trying to get that W. Go Dawgs.”

Hardman has Smart and many other Bulldogs pulling for Kansas City against the San Francisco 49ers. After San Francisco struck first with a field goal, the Chiefs have taken a 7-3 lead with a touchdown drive capped off a Patrick Mahomes scoring run. So far, with the first quarter winding down, Hardman’s only recorded stat is a 29-yard kick return.

The speedster, who has earned the “Jet” nickname, arrived to his first Super Bowl in style, sporting the uniform of a Navy pilot and getting a Twitter shoutout from the U.S. Naval Air Forces.
