The Texas A&M Aggies will be kicking off their 2025 season this Saturday against the UTSA Roadrunners, and they recently learned that star running back La’Veon Moss will be ready for action.
The senior tailback had been recovering from a season-ending knee injury last November against in the team’s 44-20 loss against the South Carolina Gamecocks, and has been working his way back all offseason.
Second-year head coach Mike Elko mentioned this past summer that the main goal was to get Moss back up to full speed at practice and reacclimatize him to full contact. It looks like things are finally falling into place for the senior, as Elko told reporters on Monday afternoon that the star running back is “good to go” on Saturday.
Moss will be looking to pick things back up where he left them off in 2025 as the Aggies’ bell cow back, and the team will be expecting him to contribute at a high level to make a run at an SEC Championship game appearance.
It will be very interesting to see how Moss performs in his first in-game action in almost a year, and what he looks like over the course of the year as the leader in the A&M backfield.
