Mike Espy narrates intense Ole Miss hype video for showdown with Auburn

The Ole Miss Rebels have very little wiggle room in their 2026 College Football Playoff chase. It’s possible that a loss to the Georgia Bulldogs next weekend would knock them out of Playoff contention. A slip-up today vs. the Auburn Tigers, though, would almost certainly send them spiraling down the CFP oddsboard.
Knowing that’s the case, Ole Miss must beat Auburn. The Rebels are eager for the challenge, and they know what’s on the line. Late Friday night, they called on four-year wideout Mike Espy to narrate their hype video for the matchup with the Tigers. The message? Win… whether it’s pretty, or not.

“Winners don’t wait for an opportunity. They take it,” Espy said. “Winners are disciplined. Winners are relentless… physical. They don’t blink… they attack. They finish… find a way.”
“It’s about who we are,” Espy continued. “No backing down. No looking back. This is our time… spot the damn ball.”
Ole Miss (5-2, 3-2 SEC) enters play against Auburn (4-3, 2-3 SEC) off a road loss to Texas. The Rebels overcame a 24-3 halftime deficit and tied the game early in the fourth quarter, but wound up falling 34-27. Trinidad Chambliss and Co. hope today’s matchup with the Tigers doesn’t require a similar comeback effort. Auburn and Ole Miss kick off at 12:45 p.m. ET (SEC Network).
