Mike Norvell on awful FSU fourth-down trick play: ‘Ultimately, I’d like to have that call back’

Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles are sitting at 0-4 after losing at home against Louisville on Saturday afternoon.
And, in that loss, the Seminoles ran one of the worst fourth-down plays you’ll ever see. No one on the Louisville defense was fooled at all.
On Monday, Norvell was asked about the play. He said he’d love to have the call back, but took responsibility for giving it the green light in the first place:
Norvell asked about 4th down direct snap to Corbin, TEs standing and looking to sideline.
"Ultimately I'd like to have that call back, and it was mine."

The Seminoles obviously need a lot of work if they’re going to salvage anything from this 2021 campaign.
First, though, Norvell needs to rip the high-school level trick plays from his playbook.
