Mike VI won’t return to Death Valley in 2015; LSU ‘will re-evaluate next season’

Mike VI enjoyed a pregame meal of raw meat in the shape of a Gator, but he won’t enjoy any Tigers games this season.

LSU announced that the tiger will not appear at any of LSU’s home games the rest of the season, according to The Advocate newspaper. Mike VI has been reluctant to enter his mobile carrier.
The announcement said the university “will re-evaluate next season,” The Advocate reports. Mike VI made his lone cameo of the 2015 season at LSU’s home opener against McNeese State, a game that was ultimately cancelled due to lightning.
Mike VI’s last appearance for a game at Death Valley was in 2013. The last season he has attended every game was 2011.
