Mississippi State basketball announces home-and-home series with Minnesota

Mississippi State’s basketball program has added a nice series in the coming years as the Bulldogs are set to face Minnesota in each of the next two seasons.
The home-and-home series will start at Minnesota on Dec. 16, 2020, with the Gophers making the return trip to Starkville in 2021. The date for the second matchup has yet to be decided.
Mississippi State and Minnesota have never faced off on the hardwood.
The Gophers were 15-16 last season and are coached by Richard Pitino, the son of former Kentucky and Louisville coach Rick Pitino.
