Mississippi State kept 3-star safety Dylan Lawrence home as part of its 2019 recruiting class, and he’s been in Starkville the past 4 seasons.

This past year, he appeared in 12 games for the Bulldogs, mostly as a backup and a special-teams player, recording 5 total tackles.

Now he’s made a decision on his future with 2 years of eligibility remaining. Lawrence took to Twitter on Wednesday to reveal he was entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal:

In his 4 years in Starkville, Lawrence appeared in 16 games, recording 14 total tackles. He also had a forced fumble.

We’ll see where he ends up for his final 2 years of college football, but it appears his time with the Bulldogs has come to an end.
