Mississippi State was named a finalist for 4-star cornerback PJ Woodland Monday evening.

Woodland, who hails from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, announced that he has cut his list to the Bulldogs and LSU. He also announced that he will be committing tomorrow, June 20.

The 6-foot, 165-pound CB is thought to be a heavy Mississippi State lean per 247Sports, which has a pair of crystal balls predicting him to Starkville. In addition to cornerback, Woodland played a lot of snaps at wide receiver for Oak Grove HS in Hattiesburg.

Woodland is considered to be the No. 405 prospect in the country, as well as the No. 34 ATH and No. 14 player from the state of Mississippi.
