Early National Signing Day may have come in early December, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a few surprise commitments still floating around for programs still trying to fill out their 2026 recruiting classes.

Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers already secured a respectable class during the early signing period, and they added onto it Monday evening by flipping 3-star defensive lineman Jocques Felix from Iowa State.

The St. Louis Native had been committed to the Cyclones since mid-October, but decided to reopen his recruitment following Matt Campbell’s departure for Penn State at the end of November.

Drinkwitz and his staff were able to get Felix on campus shortly after New Year’s, and the big man made his commitment to the in-state Tigers official on Monday evening after receiving an offer.

With the 6’3 275-pound defensive tackle in the fold, the Tigers now have 20 players in their 2026 recruiting class, 19 of whom signed during the early signing period, and 15 who have already made it to campus as early enrollees.

Now, Mizzou will turn its attention to the transfer portal as it looks to re-tool heading into the offseason in anticipation of another campaign in 2026.
