More to come? Nation’s No. 2 LB, major Texas A&M 2022 target, impressed by Aggies’ big day

Texas A&M defeated Auburn 20-3 at Kyle Field to move to 7-2 and keep its SEC West and New Year’s 6 aspirations alive.

The Aggies certainly need help to get to Atlanta, but winning on the road against Ole Miss and LSU while handling FCS Prairie View A&M as expected should earn them a slot in a New Year’s Day bowl.

Off the field, the Aggies enjoyed some big news on the recruiting trail. First, the top defensive lineman in the class of 2022, Walter Nolen, committed to A&M. That was followed by Chris Marshall, one of the top wide receivers in Texas, who announced his own commitment as he’ll play both football and basketball in College Station.

Fisher and the Aggies also have been in strong position to land a verbal pledge from major in-state recruit Harold Perkins, the No. 2 linebacker in the country and the No. 11 player in the class according to 247Sports. Aggies fans should be very encouraged as Perkins tweeted this out shortly after A&M’s win over Auburn on Saturday:
