4-star edge rusher and versatile athlete Neeo Avery included 4 SEC teams in his top 6, which he released Wednesday afternoon.
Georgia, Kentucky, LSU and Mississippi made the cut, alongside Penn State and Maryland out of the Big Ten.

This announcement comes soon after an official visit to Maryland. Avery also has an official visit to Lexington scheduled for June 17.
Avery is considered to be the No. 207 player in the nation and the 5th best player in the state of Maryland, per the 247Sports composite rankings. Though he has experience at quarterback, he is also considered to be the No. 25 edge rusher in the class of 2023.
