New Mexico State freshman running back Makhilyn Young took a shot at Auburn using a Bo Jackson-themed pun after pulling off a massive upset on The Plains.

The Aggies freshman added insult to injury for Auburn Tigers fans, after their 31-10 loss, with this pun on social media.

“Had me toten like Bo we just Jack’d(son)” Young wrote on his Instagram caption.

New Mexico State improved to 9-3 on the season after their huge upset win over Auburn 31-10. The Aggies hit a 40-yard field goal with :26 seconds left in the first half to take a 10-7 lead and they never looked back.

The freshman running back Makihlyn Young had 6 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown. He also added 1 reception for 1 yard. Young’s touchdown run was the final nail in the coffin when he took it in from 2 yards out to put the Aggies up 31-10 with just 1:59 left to go in the 4th quarter.

The upset loss knocked Auburn down to 6-5 on the season and the Tigers currently hold a 3-4 record in SEC play this season. Despite the loss Auburn still has clinched a bowl game this season after missing out on a Bowl game in 2022. The Tigers have a chance to pull an upset of their own when they take on rivals Alabama this Saturday.

Auburn hosts Alabama this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
