Nick Saban spoke with reporters on Monday morning and discussed the health of star Alabama QB Bryce Young.
The reigning Heisman Trophy winner suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the season, forcing him to miss a game. But, he’s back in action now.
However, after he bounced a few passes in an overtime loss to LSU on Saturday, some were questioning if Young was fully healthy. Saban said on Monday that Young has maintained that he’s fine and added that the rest of the Tide players need to do a better job around him:
Saban on Bryce Young's shoulder health: "He is telling us that he is fine. He said he was fine in practice relative to what he did. We need to do a better job around Bryce"

Young was off-balance for many throws thanks to the pressure that came from all over the LSU defensive front. That, more than any shoulder issues, potentially caused him to be less accurate than normal.
We’ll see if Young gets more protection from his offensive line this coming weekend at Ole Miss.
