Nick Saban reflects on Frank Broyles’ profound impact on college football

You don’t have to have any connection to Arkansas to recognize the impact former Razorbacks coach and athletics director Frank Broyles had on college football.
Alabama coach Nick Saban issued a statement Monday on the passing of Broyles, who was 92.
“Frank Broyles had a profound impact on college football as a legendary player, coach, television commentator and administratior. He touched the lives of so many during his years of service to the University of Arkansas as football coach and athletics director. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.”
Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne also released a statement.
“Coach Broyles will forever be one of the greatest in college football, and his energy and enthusiasm for the University of Arkansas and college football was unmatched. We send our deepest sympathies and prayers.”
Sports figures around the country have publicly mourned the loss of the late Arkansas coach and athletic director.
