The Alabama Crimson Tide may have won 42-35 against Arkansas on Saturday evening in Tuscaloosa, but they lost a key player before the game.
That’s because talented DL DJ Dale suffered a knee injury prior to the game during warmups and couldn’t go against the Razorbacks.
After the game, coach Nick Saban provided an update on Dale, saying the key defender had an MRI that was “fine,” and hopes everything will be OK moving forward:
Nick Saban on DJ Dale getting hurt in pregame:
"He did something to his knee. MRI is fine. He's had two surgeries on his patella tendon. Hopefully, everything is okay.

Dale is a big part of the Alabama defensive line. If he’s out in the Iron Bowl, the Tide defense will certainly miss him.
We’ll see how he progresses during the week.
