Alabama is supposed to have one of the most dangerous backfields in the country this year, but a couple of key contributors have dealt with injuries this summer.
One — sophomore Josh Jacobs — is still out with a hamstring issue and may not be ready to play on Saturday against Florida State.
According to coach Nick Saban, if Jacobs is still unable to practice on Thursday, he probably won’t suit up for Saturday night’s game:
Saban on RB Josh Jacobs: "He has not practiced yet … if he doesn't practice tomorrow he probably won't be playing in the game."

Jacobs carried the ball 85 times for 567 yards and four touchdowns in limited action last year.
He’s expected to split carries with Bo Scarbrough, Damien Harris and Najee Harris this fall, but the other three may need to carry the load on Saturday night.
The Crimson Tide take on the Seminoles in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at 8 p.m. Eastern time. The game can be seen on ABC.
