The Arkansas Razorbacks are looking to overcome yet another frightful 2025 loss Saturday when they take on No. 22 Notre Dame, and the Hogs will be doing do so as a betting underdog.

According to Circa Sports’ opening lines released Sunday, the 2-2 Razorbacks are a 5-point underdog to the 1-2 Fighting Irish on Saturday in Fayetteville (Noon ET, ABC). The total opens at 62 points.

Arkansas fumbled away a great chance to upend Memphis on Saturday at the Liberty Bowl, as running back Mike Washington Jr. was stripped of the football deep in the Tigers’ end with 1:22 remaining and the Razorbacks just looking to bleed time before setting up for a game-winning field goal. Instead, Memphis remained unbeaten at 4-0 with a 32-31 victory.

Notre Dame got 4 touchdowns Saturday from Jadarian Price, including a 100-yard kickoff return, to thump Purdue 56-30 for its first win of the season. The Irish beat the Boilermakers for the 10th straight time, including last season’s 66-7 blowout.

Saturday will be the first meeting between Arkansas and Notre Dame and was originally scheduled for 2020 before the COVID-19 epidemic. The two teams are also scheduled to play in South Bend, Ind., in 2028.
