Harbor announced the news in a social media video on Christmas Day.

“You really thought I was going somewhere?” Harbor said in the video below. “Nah … Let’s do it.”

Harbor was a 5-star prospect coming out of high school in the class of 2023. Lauded for his elite athleticism, Harbor has taken time to become a serious downfield threat in South Carolina‘s offense.

However, he had his best campaign yet in 2025. Harbor 30 passes for 618 yards and 6 touchdowns this fall. He also led the SEC with an average of 20.6 yards per reception.

South Carolina is gearing up for a big 2027 season. The Gamecocks fell well below expectations in 2026, mostly due to struggles on the offensive side of the ball. South Carolina has hired Kendal Briles to take over as offensive coordinator next fall.

Harbor and the Gamecocks will open the 2026 season on Sept. 5 against Kent State.
