SEC fans are gearing up for an incredible final week in the regular season, as there is still so much in the air when it comes to the conference. Currently, there isn’t a single team that has clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game.

Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss could all find themselves playing in the conference championship. On Monday, the conference released the official clinching scenarios.

Texas A&M and Alabama are the only two schools that control their own destiny. If they both win, they would face each other in Atlanta. If the Crimson Tide lose, then they are eliminated from the conversation. The Aggies could actually get in if they lose to Texas, as long as either Alabama and Ole Miss also lose.

Georgia doesn’t play an SEC opponent in its final game, as the Bulldogs will take on Georgia Tech in Atlanta. However, if either the Aggies or Alabama lose, then the Bulldogs will be playing in the SEC Championship.

The Rebels are in the toughest spot. They have to beat Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl and have both Alabama and Texas A&M lose their games.

While all four teams would like to play in the conference championship, the ultimate goal is to make it to the CFP. If all four of these teams win next week, then they are in a great spot to make it.
