The Ole Miss Rebels have named their captains Saturday at home against Tulane (3:30 pm, ESPN).
Ole Miss turns to junior linebacker TJ Dottery, senior tight end Dae’Quan Wright and senior defensive tackle Zxavian Harris as game captains against the 3-0 Green Wave.
Dottery has 10 solo tackles and a forced fumble so far in 2025 for the Rebels. Wright has hauled in 5 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown through 3 games. Harris has 9 solo stops, 2 sacks and an interception this season for Ole Miss.
The Ole Miss-Tulane rivalry dates back to 1893 – and is just one week younger than Tulane’s oldest rivlalry against LSU. Ole Miss leads the all-time series 44-29, and Tulane is Ole Miss’ most played opponent not currently in the SEC. Tulane and Ole Miss have been members of the same conference for much of their shared history: the SIAA from 1899 to 1920, the Southern Conference from 1922 to 1932, and as charter members of the SEC from 1932 to 1966.
Ole Miss enjoys a 13-game winning streak against Tulane entering Saturday’s game, including a 37-20 victory over the Green Wave in New Orleans on Sept. 9, 2023. Tulane last knocked off the Rebels 14-9 in 1988 in Oxford.
