Ole Miss basketball has learned its opponent for the first round of the Maui Invitational. According to a release on Wednesday, the Rebels will face off against the Clemson Tigers to start the 2026 tournament inside Lahaina Civic Center.
The original field for the Maui Invitational was decided a few months ago, but the first-round matchups were revealed on Wednesday. Ole Miss vs. Clemson will be Game 1 of the tournament, followed by Game 2 between Washington and BYU. VCU will face Providence in Game 3, followed by Arizona vs. Colorado State in Game 4. The Rebels’ matchup against the Tigers is set to tip off on November 23.
Ole Miss is set to begin Year 4 of the Chris Beard era. Ilias Kamardine is looking to build off a promising first year in college hoops, and 6-foot-5 wing Patton Pinkins is set to return for the Rebels as well. In addition, Beard brought in PG transfer Adam “Budd” Clark out of Seton Hall, Pitt transfer Roman Siulepa and Arizona State transfer Santiago Trouet.
All 12 games of the 2026 Maui Invitational will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, as well as the ESPN app.
