Ole Miss and LSU was one of the most hyped games entering Week 5, as it was a rematch of an overtime thriller that the Tigers won last season 29-26. For the Rebels, it was also an opportunity for the team to get a marquee victory early in the 2025 season.

The biggest change for LSU this season had been the defense, as the unit was much improved from the last couple of years. However, the Rebels showed how good their offense is as they had 285 yards of offense in the first half.

Leading 17-13 in the fourth, the Rebels sent another message with a dominant drive to take a commanding 24-13 lead late in the game. Running back Logan Diggs scored from 6 yards out, finishing off an 11-play, 75-yard drive that took nearly 5 minutes off the clock.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss once again has delivered and shown he is more than capable of being an SEC quarterback. This drive was the next one after he threw his first interception as the Rebels quarterback, showing the ability to handle some adversity.

As good as the offense has played, the Ole Miss defense also showed how good it can be, as the team had LSU struggling to get into a rhythm all day.
