Peyton Manning’s son, Marshall Manning, reportedly enrolls at school in Tennessee
The potential newest member of the Manning quarterback dynasty is making a move.
Marshall Manning, the son of Tennessee and NFL legend Peyton Manning, is set to enroll at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. That’s according to a report from the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Manning will be starting 8th grade this fall.
This represents a significant change as Manning was previously set to play prep football in Colorado. Peyton still has ties to the Rocky Mountain State as he ended his NFL career with the Denver Broncos.
Baylor School has become a strong producer of Division I athletes in recent years. Tennessee currently has multiple Baylor School alums on its football roster in wide receivers Amari Jefferson and Joakim Dodson.
It’s too early to know what caliber of quarterback prospect Manning will become, but the early returns have been positive. His middle school highlight reel went viral earlier this summer. He also caught the attention of multiple NFL players at the Pro Bowl back in February.
His cousin, Arch Manning, will step into the spotlight this fall as Texas’s starting quarterback for the first time.
