In a move that is hardly surprising, Philadelphia Eagles fans booed former Mississippi State and current Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as he was awarded the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award prior to the start of Super Bowl 57 Sunday afternoon.
Sure, rivalries will give you that. The circumstance is what makes it ironic. Of course, the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award honors a player’s commitment to community impact, on top of his excellence on the field.

Prescott created the Faith Fight Finish foundation, which “focuses on colon cancer research, mental health and suicide prevention, bridging a gap between law enforcement and its communities, and assisting those faced with life-challenging adversity,” per the NFL.
The Eagles are looking for their 2nd Super Bowl victory in the past 10 years Sunday night.
