During Mike the Tiger’s battle with cancer, LSU received an outpouring of support from all over the college football community. Schools with live mascots, however, were especially saddened by the news of Mike VI’s condition, and now, his passing.
Texas A&M didn’t let its football rivalry with LSU get in the way of Reveille sending flowers to LSU in Mike’s memory:
LSU announced Mike’s passing on Oct. 11. The Aggies also sent well wishes to Baton Rouge in May.
