Conner Weigman’s incredible 4-touchdown first half elicits fan reactions across social media

Conner Weigman is putting on a show early against New Mexico.

Now, take that with a grain of salt. It may just be New Mexico, but Weigman looks like the real deal so far. Definitely a better start to the season from a QB perspective than last year’s FBS opening disaster against Appalachian State.

Texas A&M leads New Mexico 35-7 and Weigman has accounted for 4 of those 5 touchdowns. Weigman has completed 12 of his 16 passing attempts for 175 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.

So far, touchdown No. 3 has been his best of the day:

They haven’t been swing passes of anything, either. He has scoring plays of 15, 34 and 35 yards to his name so far.
