If Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher is the only candidate on LSU’s wish list if they fire Les Miles, they might want to re-think their game plan.

According to FootballScoop.com, they are reporting that through a source Fisher has said he would say no to LSU and that he intends to stay at Florida State.

Fisher is a former LSU assistant coach (2000-06) but he actually been in Tallahassee longer, first as an assistant to Bobby Bowden and now as a head coach since 2010. He has won a national title at Florida State (2013) and three ACC titles.

Fisher did tackle the LSU subject on his radio show Wednesday night in Tallahassee.

โ€œIโ€™m happy where Iโ€™m at. Iโ€™m very happy here,” Fisher said. “Iโ€™ve got a great job. I love this place. It is a great place and it has been very good to me.ย Hopefully I will end up being very good to it.โ€

According to the Palm Beach Post, Fisher has already told FSU president John Thrasher that he has no interest in leaving Florida State.
