Former South Carolina head coach Darrin Horn is back in the coaching business again.
After leading the Gamecocks to a 60-63 overall record from 2008 to 2012, Horn has been an assistant at Texas since 2015. Now, though, he is rejoining the head coaching ranks.
Per CBS Sports reporter Gary Parrish, Horn will become the new head coach at Northern Kentucky:
Darrin Horn has reached an agreement in principle to become the next head coach at Northern Kentucky, a source told @CBSSports.

Northern Kentucky just lost previous head coach John Brannen to Cincinnati after Cincinnati’s Mick Cronin left for the open UCLA job.
Horn previously coached at Western Kentucky, leading that squad to the Sweet 16 in the 2007-08 season before taking the South Carolina job the following year.
