Report: Pittsburgh Steelers trade former Auburn WR Sammie Coates to the Cleveland Browns

Now that WR Martavis Bryant is back after being suspended for the entire 2016 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers don’t really have a place for former Auburn WR Sammie Coates anymore.
Instead of cutting him, though, the Steelers dealt the former Tiger to an AFC North rival, sending him to the Cleveland Browns.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news of the trade on Twitter on Saturday afternoon:

Interestingly, that’s not the first time the two teams have switched players this week, as the Steelers signed former Cleveland CB Joe Haden after the Browns cut him.
Since the Browns host the Steelers in Week 1, that sets up an interesting potential matchup next Sunday:

In 2016, Coates made 21 catches for 435 yards and two scores, but was hampered by a hand injury late in the season.
Now, he’ll try to learn the Browns’ offense in a hurry so he can get on the field vs. his former team next Sunday.
