The South Carolina Gamecocks may soon have a key opening on their on-field coaching staff.

According to college football insider Bruce Feldman, South Carolina RB coach Thomas Brown is expected to move up to the NFL ranks.

As you can see in the tweet below, Feldman mentions that Brown will likely take a spot on the Los Angeles Rams’ coaching staff for the 2020 season:

Brown played for Georgia from 2004 to 2007 before going to the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He then went to the Cleveland Browns before his pro career ended in 2010.

Brown coached at Georgia in 2015 and at Miami from 2016 to 2018 before moving to South Carolina for the 2019 season. Now, it seems he’ll head back to the NFL.
