RJ Young shares list of top 5 Heisman Trophy contenders entering Week 12

R.J. Young favored 2 SEC stars when making his Heisman contenders list.
Young put Jalen Milroe and Jayden Daniels on the list. Former Auburn quarterback Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr also made the cut, with Marvin Harrison Jr. taking the top spot.
Milroe accounted for 6 of Alabama’s 7 touchdowns in the 49-21 win over Kentucky.
Daniels rebounded from the tough loss to the Crimson Tide with an incredible performance. Daniels had 372 yards passing, 234 yards rushing, and 5 total touchdowns. LSU won an offensive shootout with Florida 52-35.

Milroe has 28 touchdowns on the season with 6 interceptions. Daniels has scored 38 touchdowns with 4 interceptions this year.
Harrison helped Ohio State get past Michigan State with 149 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. Nix and Oregon outlasted USC with 412 yards passing and 4 touchdowns from the QB.
Penix had 3 touchdowns and 332 yards passing as Washington beat Utah 35-28.
