Things just got worse for Ole Miss star defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche.

The Rebels’ juniorย has been charged with marijuana possession after falling from a wall outside a Buckhead hotel over the weekend, Atlanta police told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday.

Found in the hotel roomย at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta were โ€œapproximately 7 rolled marijuana cigarettesโ€ tied to Nkemdiche, a police report said.

Authorities believe the 6-foot-4, 296-pound defensive tackle โ€œclimbed over a wall and fell approximately 15 feetโ€ after breaking out the window of his hotel room and walking a short distance.

Atlanta police rushedย to the Grand Hyatt Atlanta hotel onย Peachtree Street around 11:20 p.m. on Saturdayย andย found Nkemdiche โ€œconscious and breathingโ€ before takingย him to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition, according to information first released on Sunday.

Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze released aย statement onย Sunday through a spokesman, sayingย he was โ€œstill learning about the matter, but obviously Robertโ€™s well being is our greatest concern.โ€
