Missouri announced Monday that senior running back Russell Hansbrough will miss Saturday’s game against UConn.

Hansbrough, who has an ankle injury, attempted to play Saturday against Arkansas State, but he was ineffective. The 5-foot-9, 195-pound senior, rushed for 1,084 yards in 2014.
Sophomore Ish Witter will start for the Tigers against the Huskies.
