Ryan Day and Ohio State LB Tommy Eichenberg outline priorities to limit Georgia’s offense

Ryan Day and linebacker Tommy Eichenberg met with the media on Monday to preview Saturday’s game against Georgia. They both pointed to Georgia’s balanced offense and how the Bulldogs’ offensive line and running backs work together.
Day said Georgia’s rushing offense will challenge Ohio State and has a “great mix” between ball-carriers such as Daijuan Edwards and Kenny McIntosh, among others. Day said “fundamentals” like pad level and tackling will be key for the Buckeyes run defense.
Eichenberg said the balance of talent on Georgia’s offense among positions such as offensive line and running back helps the Bulldogs remain effective and a challenge for the Buckeyes to stop. “When you put all those together, you’ll be pretty good,” he said.
The solution to limit Georgia’s running game and quarterback scrambles “comes down to doing your job,” Eichenberg said, and that the Buckeyes have practiced for Georgia’s rushing offense.
