As the 2026 college football season rolls along, the SEC has set kickoff times for Week 8. The Saturday, Oct. 24 slate features 12 teams across 6 conference contests.
By the current AP Top 25, the marquee matchup is Ole Miss at Texas. The Rebels are ranked No. 9 after a lopsided bounce-back victory at Vanderbilt in Week 6. The Longhorns are ranked No. 7 after falling to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, Texas’s first loss of the season. If both teams win in Week 7, it should be a top-10 showdown in Austin.
