A pair of SEC teams scheduled non-conference games against power conference opponents for the coming years on Thursday.

Ole Miss announced a home-and-home series with Cal in 2017 and 2019, and Georgia scheduled its 2016 season opener against North Carolina in the Georgia Dome.

Here’s what else happened in SEC country on Thursday:

STATE OF THE UNION

Today we released our State of the Union reports on the Arkansas Razorbacks, Florida Gators and Mississippi State Bulldogs.

MEET THE COACHES

We also continued our Meet the Coaches series by introducing former Florida head coach Will Muschamp in his new role as Auburn’s defensive coordinator, and Kevin Steele in his new role as the DC at LSU.

NFL COMBINE

It was Day 3 at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Thursday, and a number of SEC stars were in the mix.

Wide receivers went through measurements, and both Amari Cooper and Dorial Green-Beckham impressed scouts on hand. Here’s an official list of the measurables for every SEC player to report to the combine thus far.
