SEC early entrants: An updated list of stars declaring early for NFL Draft

As we progress through another thrilling bowl season, more and more SEC stars have begun declaring themselves eligible for next year’s NFL Draft.
Of the 16 underclassmen from across the country who have already declared for the draft, six of them hail from the SEC. Underclassmen have until Jan. 15 to declare for the draft, renouncing their remaining years of college eligibility in the process.
Two years ago, a record 73 underclassmen declared for the draft, and last year that record was broken when 98 underclassmen made themselves draft-eligible. It is expected that after most bowl games have passed a number of other stars from across the country will declare for the draft, including stars littered throughout the SEC.
Here are the six SEC underclassmen who have already made their commitment to the April 30 draft official:
Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina
Dante Fowler Jr., DE, Florida
Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
Matt Jones, RB, Florida
Tyler Moore, OG, Florida
