The SEC will feature some of the biggest games during college football’s ‘Rivalry Week’ in the final regular season. Many of the games have historic meaning like the Egg Bowl between Mississippi State as well as the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn.
While Oklahoma and LSU isn’t necessarily a huge rival when it comes to tradition, that doesn’t mean the stakes are any lower in next week’s game. The Sooners would all but clinch a spot in the College Football Playoff with a win. The SEC announced that kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET and that the game will be on ABC.

The Sooners continued their amazing season after they defeated Missouri 17-6 on Saturday. After a home loss against Ole Miss, the Sooners were 6-2 and on the outside looking in at making the CFP. However, they put together one of the best two-game stretches of any team this season, as they went and won consecutive road games at Tennessee and Alabama.
The defense has been as good as there has been in the country all season long, and once again the Sooners showed that in the win against Missouri. They held the nation’s No. 1 running back Ahmad Hardy to only 57 yards on 17 carries. That is the second fewest he has rushed for this year.
With just one more regular season, the Sooners could all but clinch that CFP spot with a win against the Tigers.
