The Border War is back, and SEC Nation will be in attendance for the renewal of one of CFB’s most hate-filled and passionate rivalries.

Missouri and Kansas are set to square off Saturday for the first time since 2011, as the Jayhawks are making their way eastward down I-70 to visit Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers.

With a sellout crowd expected to be on hand for the game, Marty & McGee will get things started at 9 a.m. ET (8 a.m. local time), with the SEC Nation crew following at 10 a.m. ET.

The all-time series record between the schools currently stands at 57-54-9 in favor of Mizzou, with this being the 8th-most-played rivalry in the sport. The Tigers are also winners of three straight in the series, with a 24-10 victory in Kansas City being the latest result from 2011.

The 2007 matchup was perhaps the most notable in the series’ history, with a fourth-ranked Missouri squad upending a second-ranked Kansas team at Arrowhead Stadium by a score of 36-28. The result clinched a spot in the Big 12 title game for the Tigers, where they would fall to Oklahoma with a national title spot on the line.

But while the implications may not be quite as noteworthy in this one, the same level of animosity is expected on Saturday as two teams with dark-horse intentions clash.
