This week, the SEC Nation crew made the trip to Atlanta to cover Week 9’s rivalry matchup between No. 17 Florida and No. 3 Georgia.
The Gators are in desperate need of a win in this spot. Florida sits at 5-2 on the season, needing a massive resume boost to add alongside its win over Texas a few weeks ago. Earlier this week, Gators head coach Jon Sumrall noted that Florida will enter Week 9 with Georgia Tech transfer Aaron Philo under center, replacing Tramell Jones Jr. after his excellent effort to defeat the Longhorns in Austin.
Georgia, on the other hand, is looking to vent some frustrations against the Gators. Georgia fell to Auburn before the bye week and comes into this year’s Cocktail Party at 6-1.
On Saturday morning, before Week 9’s action kicked off, the SEC Nation crew — Roman Harper, Chase Daniel, Paul Finebaum and Tim Tebow — made their picks for the highly-anticipated matchup.
Tebow was a little fired up. Check it out:
Florida vs. Georgia is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney Plus. While the matchup is usually hosted in Jacksonville, this year’s iteration will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
