Auburn’s SEC Network takeover was anything but smooth late Saturday night and into early Sunday morning.

The Tigers were set to take over all the programming with all Auburn everything as part of the network’s 14-team takeover through July 31.

Except to start, it wasn’t “all Auburn everything.” The network had the #SECNTakeover hashtag with the Alabama logo, not the Auburn logo, in the right hand corner of the screen during the 1989 Iron Bowl. That’s something that will pique the interest of fans, and Alabama and Auburn reporters were quick to mention it.

Order was finally restored, and it was fixed nearly an hour into the ’89 Iron Bowl.
