‘SEC Shorts’ holds pizza party for winners, ‘offensive tutoring’ session for losers after Week 1
SEC Shorts released its Week 1 episode on Monday morning commemorating a memorable Week 1 of SEC action.
This week’s episode featured a “pizza party” for all the SEC teams who earned wins in the first week — most in blowout fashion. The league went 14-3 overall, with numerous teams winning by 40+ points.

Georgia’s win over Clemson, Ole Miss’ 76-0 victory over Furman and Oklahoma’s 51-3 triumph over Temple were all mentioned, among other SEC wins from Week 1.
Vanderbilt’s big win over Virginia Tech also earned a standalone moment in the episode, with the Commodores making a late entrance into the party.
Of course, not every team in the SEC won this week. Later in the video, the cast pivots to an “offensive tutoring” session featuring Texas A&M, Florida and the grim reaper — a reference to Billy Napier’s hot-seat status. LSU, who played on Sunday night, was mentioned in the closing moments of the video as well.
Overall, it was a successful week for the SEC. The league will look to pick up a couple more marquee wins in Week 2.
