It’s an epic Week 7 ahead for SEC football — 3 ranked-on-ranked games and 2 more with legitimate College Football Playoff implications.

And if you’re worried about keeping up, worry no more. Time for the weekly look around the league at who plays when, where to watch, and which games you can’t afford to miss.

The all-day couch warrior or the casual fan trying to see the biggest game, we’ve got you covered.

Snooze-fest ⭐ (1-star games)

These are the games you can fall asleep to:

The Citadel at Texas A&M (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network +)

It’s the only snoozer of the week and Texas A&M can certainly use an easy win, but at a 45.5-point spread, if you want to watch, a quarter should tell the story.

A bit compelling ⭐⭐ (2-star games)

Not the best the weekend has to offer, but mildly intriguing:

Auburn at Georgia (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)

Auburn doesn’t seem to have much of a shot to keep this one competitive, while the story for Georgia is how the Bulldogs will react to being No. 1. Probably like they react to pretty much everything else. Considering the other games starting at the same time, this is kind of a back-burner one.

Arkansas at Vanderbilt (7 p.m. ET, ESPN 2)

The 2 worst teams in the conference give each other their mutual best chances to grab a win. Should be competitive, but that’s about the best thing to say for this one.

Now we’re listening ⭐⭐⭐ (3-star games)

If you’ve got nothing else going on, relax and check these games out:

Florida at Texas (Noon ET, ABC)

Many weeks, this would be slated even higher. But both teams come in off a loss, which knocked Florida out of the AP Poll. The Texas Longhorns seem like a solid home favorite (-11.5), but if Florida can make this one competitive, it does have some switch-over potential, depending on the other SEC matchup at the same time.

Break out the guacamole ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4-star games)

Invite some friends over to watch these matchups:

Mississippi State at LSU (Noon ET, ESPN)

A ranked-on-ranked battle that is stuck here only because of the question marks around Mississippi State stars QB Kamario Taylor and RB Fluff Bothwell. If both are good to go, this should be a really interesting CFP elimination game. If one or both are out, LSU earns that 15.5-point spread. Everything is pointing LSU, but Taylor has been brilliant with his back against the wall this year.

Kentucky at Oklahoma (7:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network)

Kentucky is a CFP sleeper and Oklahoma is off a win over the No. 1 team in the nation. In most weeks, this is a 5-star game. And the good news is with only Arkansas-Vanderbilt as competition in the time window, this one is an easy pick to watch.

Block off the time, turn off the phone, pop the popcorn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5-star games)

You’re not going to want to miss a single second of these matchups:

Alabama at Tennessee (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC)

Always a big deal game and it’s not exception here as a pair of 1-loss top-15 teams will try to deliver a second loss to the other. Massive CFP implications, a doubtlessly rowdy Neyland Stadium, and an Alabama team with a chip on its shoulder make this must-see TV.

Missouri at Ole Miss (3:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network)

Meanwhile, a pair of top-13 teams battle on the SEC Network?! Same story as above, with a pair of 1-loss teams looking to step forward in a crowded back of CFP field. The loser isn’t out of the picture, but it’s a tough climb from 2 losses by mid-season.

The Game to See

Alabama-Tennessee is the obvious pick. If the 2 Mississippi State stars are healthy enough to play near full strength, consider them the second choice.

Sleeper Game of the Week

The 2 sleepers are 3 1-loss teams that aren’t getting much discussion. Mizzou could be the most underrated team in the country or the beneficiary of an easy schedule. Kentucky keeps pulling upsets and watching the teams it beats get devalued afterwards. And Ole Miss is the one of the 3 teams that more people expected to be here. But those 2 games could end up providing definitive moments in the 2026 season.
