At the Final Four this year, there will be a 3-on-3 basketball tournament featuring teams made up of each conference’s best players who didn’t make the Final Four.
On Wednesday, the SEC’s four-man squad for the inaugural tournament was revealed, and it’s an interesting mix of players.
As you can see in the video below, shared by @3X3UHoops on Twitter, the SEC, MAAC, MEAC and Summit teams were revealed:

The SEC’s squad features Mizzou’s Kassius Robertson, Georgia’s Yante Maten and Juwan Parker and South Carolina’s Frank Booker:

The other major conference teams (other than the Big Ten’s) have yet to be revealed, but the tournament should be set soon.
This is an interesting idea, as it is only available for seniors, and players will be paid. That means it should be plenty competitive, and could turn into quite the popular event.
