Seth Tillman, one of the top defensive linemen in the Class of 2027, has officially set a top 5.

Several SEC teams are in line for Tillman’s services, and 3 programs cracked his top 5 on Wednesday. The 4-star prospect out of Rock Hill, South Carolina will choose between Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Clemson and Michigan, according to a report from Chad Simmons of Rivals.

Tillman is an impressive prospect. He stands at 6-foot-2, 292 pounds and totaled an incredible 27 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks across 13 games in 2025 at South Pointe high school. Tillman is a multi-sport athlete, also starring at basketball.

A 6-foot-2, 292 pound forward. That’s a scary thought.

Of the SEC programs listed, South Carolina and Georgia are early frontrunner alongside Clemson — no surprise given his South Carolina roots. He took an official visit to Columbia on May 1 and is set to visit Georgia on May 29, per 247Sports.

Also according to 247Sports’s composite rankings, Tillman is considered to be the No. 123 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 15 defensive lineman and No. 6 player out of the Palmetto State.
