South Carolina lands commitment from talented 2021 in-state defensive lineman

The South Carolina Gamecocks have been picking up steam on the recruiting trails, and they added a player to their 2021 class to celebrate Independence Day.
This latest player is a South Carolina native — 3-star DT/DE TJ Sanders from Marion High School.
As you can see below, Sanders took to Twitter to announce his decision to commit to coach Will Muschamp’s program:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Sanders is the No. 39 defensive tackle in the class of 2021 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of South Carolina.
The Gamecocks now have 14 players in their 2021 class. Prior to Sanders’ commitment, the class ranked No. 43 in the nation and No. 11 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
