South Carolina No. 1 in Kirk Herbstreit’s top performers for Week 9

In the eyes of Kirk Herbstreit, South Carolina was the top performing team of Week 9. The Gamecocks pulled off a major upset on Saturday, defeating Tennessee 24-21.
The ESPN analyst tweeted his top team and individual performers on Monday evening:

In the preseason, Herbstreit picked the Volunteers to win the SEC East. While the Gamecocks face an uphill battle to win the division themselves, they can certainly enjoy spoiling a rival’s season in a victory that could prove to be a turning point in coach Will Muschamp’s first year.
