The second round of the 2025-26 College Football Playoff is set to kickoff as we ring in the New Year with 4 quarterfinal matchups between 8 of the nation’s top programs, all of whom hold legit national title aspirations.

Ole Miss and Georgia will be facing off in a high-stakes Sugar Bowl rematch down in the Big Easy, with the Rebels looking to avenge their only loss on the year against the freshly crowned SEC Champs.

Given the stakes of the rematch and how the first meeting between these 2 SEC powerhouses played out, the Sugar Bowl has become one of the hottest tickets in the country, with Fox Sports reporting prices have soared leading up to kickoff.

According to the Fox College Football X account, the New Year’s Day rematch between the Dawgs and the Rebs is the most expensive ticket of the CFP thus far, with prices ranging from $235 all the way up to $3,248.

These figures absolutely dwarf the rest of the CFP games over the first 2 rounds, with the next closest game being Oregon vs. Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl, whose most expensive ticket is currently sitting at $2,453.

The first meeting between Ole Miss and Georgia was an absolute barn burner, and these ticket prices reflect the collective excitement that both fan bases have for round 2 as they each look to punch their ticket to the Fiesta Bowl.
